Mexico Cruise

This was our first cruise together, as a couple.

My second cruise, his first, but our first together.

He wanted to visit the Bahamas, but since I had already visited the Bahamas the year before, we agreed to go on a Mexico cruise.

Mexico Cruise

I was excited and ready to go since I had experience cruising.

My boyfriend, on the other hand, was nervous because he was afraid he would get sea sick and not enjoy his time on the cruise boat.

Agreed on staying in an interior cabin so that the ocean view or balcony wouldn’t interfere with any sea sickness.

We learned quickly that it was a bad idea!

Felt seasick immediately..(both of us), every time the boat would rock, we could feel it. Our first night was not the best at all.

We stayed in bed most of the day/night because every time we got up, we felt nauseous.

We didn’t let that stop us though. The next day we relaxed on our day at sea on the way to Mexico.

A little after taking this photo we went to the arcade where my boyfriend won an iPhone 6 Plus!!

The view was so amazingly beautiful!

I love the towels that would appear as an animal of some kind, so cute.

The view from the deck was beautiful.

We arrive in Cozumel, Mexico. So many colors!!

Walked around a couple of places and shopped for souvenirs to bring home.

Then I saw, “Free Wifi”.

I was excited because the wifi in our interior cabin would not connect at all!!

To be able to connect to the internet for sharing our experience and letting the family know we were ok was a relief!

Not so fast, I had to buy something before they would provide me with the password and this my friends is what I got..

I didn’t even drink it all, was not in the mood for alcohol while being in the hot sun.

So, we wait at Fat Tuesday until it was our time to leave on the boat to go to our private island.

From the boat to the island, we arrive!

It was called Isla Pasion. We decided not to do any excursions, only wanted to lay out in the sun & eat!

That is exactly what we did.

There was a bar with a buffet of different foods to try. (I cannot believe I didn’t take any pictures of food this trip!!)

The water was beautiful and I became 10 shades darker during this trip! haha.

The craziest part was when they told us about the few parts of the island not to venture off to because of the cartel. After that, I stayed close to my boyfriend and the beach.

We had a good time for our Mexico cruise, laying in the sun, talking about life, listening to music, food, drinks, with our feet in the sand.

Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the boat.

Of course, I had to write “Mexico” in the sand before we left. (excuse the penmanship)

Here’s a quick video of our experience.

    How fun!
My husband and I cruised through Cozumel too!
I got super sea sick so we asked to switch to a balcony room and that helped A LOT. Looking at the horizon is a big help if you feel sick!

I’m going to live vicariously through you – I’m scared to go on a cruise since I get seasick on 15 minute ferry rides LOL. I love all the pictures. Looks so fun! I’ve been to Fat Tuesday in Arizona, you should’ve drank it!!

We stayed in Rivera Maya & took a boat over to Cozumel from Playa! It was a beautiful island with good snorkeling! It looks like you had an amazing time, except for being seasick!
