One Day in Georgetown Cayman Islands

One Day in Georgetown Cayman Islands

It is the capital of the Cayman Islands, in the British West Indies. The second largest city!

We were visiting while on a week cruise in the Carribean! We only had one day to see the island, so I decided to ditch the executions and be a real tourist for the day!

We were going to try the food here, but when we came back around the line was long as ever and we were starving! Did not wait, kept walking!

After being on a boat eating nothing but unhealthy stuff, we decided to eat at The Greenhouse.

They had smoothies, juices, flatbreads, wraps, etc! So many yummy choices & all natural!

We actually didn’t buy any food, I was surprised. We did try the smoothies though!

They were delicious!!

It looks like you had an awesome time! My husband and I took a Carnival Cruise for our honeymoon and we snorkeled in the Grand Cayman Islands. It is absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed looking at all of your pictures. It’s changed a lot since we’ve been there. Seeing it makes me want to go back!

Great pictures of those old Colonial style buildings. You certainly capture the mood of the place.

The best food is always from those benches on the beach! I’m also continually happy coffee culture is spreading.

I love coastal towns, I live on the seashore. The air is so saturated with salt 🙂

We had a very abbreviated trip to the Cayman islands a few years ago, so this gives me something to plan and look forward to, again. Great pics – you captured the vibe so well.
